This quote resonated with me because I recently noticed how the coaching 'profession' has become more of a marketing machine than a unique offering of one's soul. Instead of promoting an awakening in others, many purported coaching courses remind me multi-level marketing schemes touting courses on making more money. I am most bothered by the 'formulae' for a successful practice that prey on peoples' vulnerabilities or try to convince people they need to be 'fixed.' Why has marketing convinced the public that a title makes the person?
