Have you met anyone who has not faced obstacles or problems in life ? I have not. As long as we live problems and pain will come. We need to discover our happiness while life is playing it's own drama and coming with it's own waves.
As I see, pain and problems can be of two kinds. One is the degenerative type of pain, which are caused by those problems and situations which are meant to be confronted but we avoid them for years and decades hoping they would disappear on their own, but they don't and then they loom in front of us at some later stage in life. (Example : Staying put in a career or job we hate or we feel numb about for decades. At some point the pain associated with this numbness will confront us with its own venom. Example: Staying put in a relationship or environment which again makes us numb or we hate. This again will confront us at some point in life. And several such examples like historical pain or existing pain where we can sense the numbness and hatred but we keep putting up with toxic situations or people around). This pain is waiting to hit those of us who have stopped connecting with their hearts and are actively take steps to make changes based on the voice they hear from their heart and soul.
Another type of pain or problem is the regenerative type as I term it. This is associated with actively confronting the topics which needs to be confronted and taking the bull by the horns. Whether it is career, job satisfaction, relationships and friendships, social environment, finding your own soul, health etc. All these topics are important for us as human beings. And confronting these topics in healthy way, also leads to pain or problems but this leads to more inner health and well being despite the price of pain and struggle which comes inevitably with every life path and living of one's life purpose.
My point is don't try to avoid pain or problems. Accept them as an important element of the journey of life. However try to avoid the degenerative avoidance kind of pain. The numbness and inner obstacles which erupts years and decades later. Try to start looking at your inner topics directly and let them start shaping your deeper sense of fulfillment and well-being. Embrace the regenerative pain as inevitable part of self growth and discover your inner sense of fulfillment, purpose and joy while moving on the path of life.
